LimX Dynamics, based in Shenzhen, is one of the most locomotion-engineering focused humanoid platform companies in the Chinese humanoid industry, as a Shenzhen-based platform builder with a deep engineering heritage in dynamic legged locomotion. CL-1 represents LimX’s flagship bipedal humanoid, a platform which is the natural extension of LimX’s quadruped legged-robot product portfolio. In this CL-1 review, we assess whether LimX’s deep engineering in dynamic-locomotion translates to a humanoid which is worth the attention of enterprise buyers, and whether this is a mature enough platform at the pilot-stage to warrant consideration.
