RoboEra STAR1

RoboEra is one of the most academically credentialed humanoid platform companies in the global market, a Beijing-based spin-out from Tsinghua University’s robotics research with deep engineering heritage in dynamic locomotion and dexterous manipulation. STAR1 is the company’s flagship platform, combining one of the highest demonstrated running speeds in the humanoid industry (~12 km/h) with the company’s in-house XHand dexterous manipulator. This review evaluates whether RoboEra’s academic research pedigree and locomotion-engineering depth produce a humanoid worth taking seriously, or whether the platform’s pilot-stage commercial maturity limits its appeal for enterprise buyers.
