Sunday Robotics Sunday Companion

Sunday Robotics is a bit of an odd one out in the 2026 humanoid race, offering a companion-first humanoid platform that is focused on the emotional needs of the home rather than the physical workload that the industry has prioritized so far. Its primary product, Sunday Companion, is a small-scale 150 cm humanoid platform designed specifically for home companion use. We examine whether Sunday’s unique commercial strategy makes for a humanoid that is worth being taken seriously as a tool for the emotional needs of the home, or if the commercial state of its platforms at this stage limits its appeal for those interested in meaningful household presence.
