Established in 2016 in Hangzhou, China, Unitree Robotics grew out of its founder’s earlier work on legged robot movement. H1 and G1 are the main products in its humanoid robotics effort. It is extending the engineering rigor and commercial focus that have established it as a worldwide leader in quadrupeds to make a quadruped in human form. H1 was Unitree’s first full-sized humanoid and first-ever bipedal platform, debuting in 2023. It uses the foundation of the company’s 10-year-plus effort in quadrupedal locomotion. This platform has been through several versions or configurations, increasing the user choice at each level for dexterous hand models, maximum lifted load, and customer setup for pilot industrial applications.
